A leading beauty brand came to us with an ambitious target: a single trading day bigger than their best ever month on TikTok Shop. Previous record: £850k in a month. Target: £1m+ in a day.
Six weeks out, we mapped the entire event backwards from the number. Bundle economics were engineered first — every hero product paired into limited bundles designed to push AOV past £70 without discount erosion. The creator community was activated in waves, seeding anticipation content for a fortnight before the event.
Three hosts rotated across a purpose-built set with a producer calling merchandising changes in real time. When a bundle's conversion dipped, it was swapped within minutes. When concurrents spiked, the hero bundle price was held to convert the surge. Moderation and pinned-comment strategy kept purchase intent front of feed for the entire stream.
£2.4m GMV — more than double the target and nearly three times the brand's previous best month, in one day. The halo effect carried forward: the thirty days following the event became the brand's best ever standard trading month.
